*Original Pokeball designs created in Cinema 4D*

These can be used on any Pokemon, but will work worse than a normal Pokeball if not used on the proper Pokemon, and the Pokemon will be prone to disobedience and stubborness. When used on the correct Pokemon however, they will be much easier to catch as well as more loyal and loving towards its owner.

List of Pokeballs from left to right:

Blaze Ball
Only works with catching Blaziken

Drought Ball
Only works with catching Groudon

Flood Ball
Only works with catching Kyogre

Melodic Wing Ball
Only works with catching Flygon

They can also be used to catch each Pokemon's evolution/related Pokemon

As a side note, I am very willing to accept alternate names for Pokeballs, if I feel that they would be better suited for them. I didn't really spend too much time thinking about them.

Thank you very much!

It looks great! Very creative idea yet simple. You might even consider putting it against some kind of background to make it stand out even more. Good work.

I considered that. That was actually the only pokeball i did without a background. I might revisit it once my program supports making hair particles again. And thank you ^ ^

3D Pokeballs are so "in" right now. >.<
Seriously, in the past month, there has been hundreds from so many different people. I did mine over a year ago. (Hipster, JK) ^-^
I really love your designs, but your lighting setup is severely lacking. Shoot me one of your models, and I'll send you back a lighting rig for you to use.
And if you are afraid to share, just let me know, and I'll just use my old model. You also might want to tone down the reflections, it is really bogging down your great modeling.
Let me know, ~Mango

Yeah my first set was created a year ago too haha. It's snowballed quite a bit since then...

I've debated changing things like lighting and reflections and what not, but I've just gotten so used to being so consistent with them that I become skeptical.

I'll just send a simple Pokeball with all the render settings and lighting setup that I typically use, so you can take a look for yourself. Do you have an email?

Also I appreciate the criticism and feedback. It's been a year and all I've ever gotten was "I love them!" or "These are so amazing!". Not that I don't enjoy the compliments and appreciation, but getting some real feedback once in a while really helps. It's refreshing, so thank you.

That's probably because the people that like your images, are Pokemon fans, that usually don't know much at all about 3D rendering, as its kind of niche, compared to more traditional art. You DON'T want to know how many people, kids especially, have thought that I "draw" my 3D renders. They just can't grasp the concept of 3D space, or light simulation. A lot of people also confuse 3D, with stereoscopic 3D.
"I do 3D rendering"
"Oah, do you need glasses, or...?"
*facepalm* >.<
I on the other hand, happen to be a Pokemon fan, as well as 3D artist, and I'm glad to help! :D
I'll shoot you a note with my email.

Well fortunately I myself have not dealt with anyone like that yet haha. Mostly I get people who mistake them for being real, which I suppose I should probably take as a compliment.

Yea I've thought about it before, just gotten bogged down with consistency. I really am considering changing things up a bit though.

I appreciate the feedback as well, thank you :)
